What is Prosciutto?

Charcuterie boards, that often include prosciutto, are definitely a lot of fun to design and I don't always wait for a special occasion to whip one of these up. I will often prepare a plate-for-one. :) But what is prosciutto? How do you eat it? How much is too much? In today's blog I share with you some helpful insights into prosciutto and some fantastic recipes on how to use this Italian ham.

Chocolate Avocado Pudding

Not many believe me when I tell them that they are eating blended avocado. Avocado is so creamy in texture, it makes the perfect base for a decadent and luscious pudding. Trust me when I say, even if you don't like avocado, you will still love this amazingly delicious and nutritious dessert.

Guacamole – Nicole’s Famous Guac

If you have invited me over for an event/party, then you likely have asked me to bring my famous guacamole.  And the reason why is because it's so darn delicious. This guacamole recipe has been in my family for 19 years, come this New Years Eve.  The only change we have made to it was switching from peeling/seeding tomatoes to dicing plum/cherry tomatoes (so much easier). This year, my guacamole made another Xmas eve appearance and come New Years there will be an encore.  If your party planning is in full swing as we prepare to ring in the new year,  this dish will complement your meal and definitely impress your guests.  Enjoy!!
