Strawberry Balsamic Spinach Salad

It’s one of my favourite times of the year – strawberry season! Nothing quite compares to the sweet taste of fresh, local strawberries in the summer months. Even better, these red gems are a great source of vitamin C, folate, fibre and potassium. They are low in sugar too with only 7 grams per cup! When looking for strawberries in your supermarket, opt for organic, as strawberries are at the top of the dirty dozen list.

  3. Whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil and salt. Drizzle desired amount of dressing over your salad and enjoy!
